About Us

Brun Fine Art is a leading international gallery specialized in prestigious continental furniture, Italian and continental sculpture, decorative artworks and objects of absolute quality and beauty. In the past twenty years, Augusto and Marco Brun have established the gallery’s reputation as a leading art gallery. At the core of the business lies the brothers’ strong passion for art and antiques, and a fondness for introducing leading clients and art lovers to a fusion of ages, materials and events that shaped the history of art. Its focus and determination lies in sourcing extraordinary antique furniture and decorative art pieces that are works of art in their own right. Augusto and Marco Brun’s great passion for materials such as wood, marbles and bronze was the fundamental reason why they started dealing in sculpture and antique furniture. Over the years they have deepened their passion and combined it with expertise to develop a great taste for furniture created mainly in Italy and France, from the fifteenth to the nineteenth centuries. In our galleries in Milan, Florence and London, Brun Fine Art has proudly presented remarkable examples of continental sculpture, Florentine works in pietre dure, early Venetian furniture and Trapani coral objects.

Over the years, the gallery has developed its taste for sculptures, furniture and decorative arts together with the assistance of leading scholars such as Aldo Galli, Giancarlo Gentillini, Andrea Bacchi and Roberto Valeriani. Each year, Prof. Bacchi works together with Brun Fine Art on an annual catalogue and exhibition called ‘A Taste for Sculpture’, which features fifteenth- to nineteenth-century Italian and Continental sculpture, presented in the gallery and at international art fairs. Recently, their range of publications has been expanded, adding catalogues on individual pieces (The Seasons by Lorenzo Sarti, 2022) and specific focal points within the collection, such as the Venetian Treasures catalogue (2022).

Today, Brun Fine Art takes part in the most prestigious international fairs, such as TEFAF Maastricht, the Florence and Rome Biennale, Masterpiece London, Fine Arts & La Biennale Paris, and BRAFA in Brussels.
